What counts as a gate?
A separately operated vehicle access point within the same physical site. A gate may handle entry, exit or both. Gates at the same site can share vehicle records.
What counts as a site?
One physical operating location. Three separate locations are three sites, even when they belong to the same organisation.
NUMBER PLATE READING INCLUDED
Read the plate.
Keep the guard in control.
Use the phone camera to capture a vehicle and read its registration. The guard checks the result and can correct it before recording IN or OUT. Manual registration entry is included too.
Vehicle make, model and colour can be entered manually when needed. Previously saved vehicle and permit details remain available for returning vehicles. There is no plate-reading add-on fee or charge per photograph.
Recognition depends on camera quality, lighting and plate condition. The system supports manned gate recording; it does not operate barriers automatically.
OPTIONAL LIVE VEHICLE-DATA LOOKUP
Less typing at the gate.
An optional £20/month.
The app can suggest available make, model and colour from MOT data, subject to coverage. Optional live provider lookup can supply missing vehicle details where available. Guards still check the result and can enter or correct details manually. Phone number plate reading is included in every base plan.
£20/month per organisation
Includes 1,000 chargeable live provider lookups per month, shared across the organisation’s sites and gates. One add-on subscription covers your organisation.
Additional live lookups: 5p each
Above the monthly allowance, each additional chargeable provider lookup costs £0.05. Photographs, IN / OUT records and MOT data checks do not count towards this paid-provider allowance.
The paid lookup add-on is optional. Available MOT data suggestions and manual entry can be used without it. Site pricing, multi-site discounts and the core gate workflow stay the same.
The £20 monthly add-on and additional lookup charges are separate from the base software subscription. Founding customer, multi-site and annual discounts do not apply to this add-on.
